It was success again for North Hill Nurseries in the Floramedia-sponsored Best Stand Award. Robert Hall staged his fourth win in the last five years to pip Howard Nurseries who took the title from him two years ago. Third place went to Country Country Plant Sales.
Sun gardening correspondent Steve Bradley, who was one of the judging panel, commented. “It was a very closely run thing between first and second. All the judges felt they both used the space particularly well and packed their displays with interesting plants. Above all they both made people stop and look at the plants.”
Commenting generally on the show, Steve Bradley added: “I haven’t seen such good quality plants for many years.”
The exhibition is organised by a group of Woking Nurserymen and full details of the products they offer can be found on www.wokingnurseries.org.uk
